The tourism festival “Peja Outdoor Tourism Festival” and the regional conference are part of a project that aims to deepen the interest and potential of Peja as a tourist destination, coordinating tourism supply and demand to promote Peja as a destination for adventure tourism. The main value of this festival is the large participation of the recreational community of Peja, known as one of the most passionate communities in Kosovo and the region, which will promote the values of natural and cultural heritage through their activities.
This will be a great celebration of adventure and fun, where during the three days, Peja will be the center of recreational activities in nature. Cultural heritage will strengthen the diversity of Peja’s offer, making the idea of a popular destination in Kosovo more real.
The sports and activities that will be organized include: hiking in nature, recreational cycling in the flat areas of Peja, via ferrata, zip-line, rock climbing and educational classes for climbing the artificial wall, speleology, visits to cultural trails, tasting of traditional foods, paragliding, and many others.
Apart from adventure and heritage, the festival also offers rich cultural programs and conferences that address important issues such as the development of adventure tourism infrastructure and challenges in sustainable tourism management.
The offer will not be limited only to those who love adventure and adrenaline, but also to parents with their children and to the elderly who want to experience these special experiences.
