TOURISM IN PEJA – YEAR 2023

Visitor Growth in Peja

The Kosovo Agency of Statistics has documented a remarkable increase in tourism activity within Peja during the calendar year 2023. Over the twelve-month period from January to December, the city experienced a substantial influx of visitors, a total of 154,289 individuals. This number is significantly different to the
preceding year’s data, which reported only 74,021 visitors for the entirety of 2022.

The comparison between tourist arrivals in 2023 and 2022 holds particular importance. The addition of 80,266 visitors in 2023 compared to the previous year
indicates a significant rise in tourism activity within Peja

Overnight Growth in Peja

Regarding the overnights in Peja from year 2022 and 2023, as maintained by the Kosovo Agency of Statistics, the total number of overnights in Peja during year
2022 was 222,679, whereas during year 2023 was 678,899. According to these data’s, the previous year, is exceeding year 2022 by 456,220 overnights.
